See Sharp was founded by Lorin Nicholson and Trevor Donaldson in September 2002. Lorin, who is legally blind, ran a successful remedial therapy practise in Tamworth, NSW for twelve years, prior to the creation of See Sharp. Lorin has been practising and performing with the guitar for over twenty years. He is an exponent of a wide variety of musical styles. Many regard Lorin as a gifted musician. Trevor, who is Lorin's father-in-law, is a teacher with thirty years of experience in Primary and Secondary Education, both in the class room and senior administrative positions. Aware of the challenges faced by modern youth Trevor asked Lorin to speak with one of his classes and play a couple of songs for them on the guitar. The positive impact of this experience was immediately obvious and Trevor and Lorin realised all young people could benefit from this experience - adults too. The concept of See Sharp was born that day. |
